how to replace window switch on w210?

My w210 passenger windows is acting up. It goes up and down by itself. When it goes down I could close it with the switch. Now it doesn't work at all. I don't know how to remove the wood trim by the gear shifter.

When the cupholder door is open, you can reach your hand underneath the wood trim and lift straight up. The wood trim will unclip and you'll have access to the window switches. Unfortunately, all four are integrated as a single (expensive) unit.

Have you had the battery disconnected lately? Be sure and read operators manual about resetting power windows
