How do you mark a post read.
When I read a post I would like to be able to mark it somehow so that I know that I have read it . Any suggestions. Milterino.

hmm. It's working for me on autopilot. It could just be because I'm logged in and it remembers. Also, it could be through use of cookies and the like. Do you have anything disabled? Also, do you use the same computer consistently?
BTW, I should point out that it's also a matter of what skin you use. With the skin I'm using, it's a baby blue background and the marker for having been read is no more than changing the font of the title from bold blue to light blue. -CTH |

If you have not looked at a thread since its last posting, the subject will appear in bold. If you read it and use the Back button, it will stay bold. However, if you use the Forum Jump at the bottom, it will change to normal font and that shows that you have read it.

Eureka!
Well, thanks for that. Instead of using the back button I did as you proposed and went down to the forum jump and it worked fine. Thanks. Milt.
