does that aluminum six have direct injection or manifold injection?
Peter
The M189 and M130 have manifold injection, with a six plunger pump, not a two plunger and distribution system like the fintail 220SE.
I cannot recall if the 300d and 300Sc had a six plunger pump or a distribution system as my 300 manual is in Raleigh, about 8604 miles away
I still do not know if the W109 M189 had an alternator or generator, anybody out there with answer?
The M188/189 engines can be rebuilt, Kienle have lots of parts, but the cost is, er, shall we say, prohibitive for mere mortals like us.
Only need apply.
