AMG Penta Lug bolts

All

I have bought a set of AMG penta Alloys for my silver 6.9. Do they require different lug bolts to those of the 14 inch bundts that I have on my car currently?

Al, not sure, when I had mine fitted I wanted a set of "lock" nuts (or coded nuts) and I know the Tyre fitter only charged me a few bucks for a new set. I'd just buy a nice new set of shiny chrome ones like I did; And dont forget the new AMG centre caps - just order them from Mercedes, they are still available. Chris

Al;

I bought Ronal R-9s, which are Penta clones and I was able to use the lugs from my 14" alloys.

Make sure the rears are not too long so as not to crash into the rear's emergency drum brakes.

Al:

On second thought, I seem to remember your Pentas having a larger offset, like over 30mm. is that right?

better be real sure your lugs are long enough to get a good grip on the wheel hubs.

you could measure what will extend beyond the mounting face where it meets the hub, using your 14" alloys as a guide and then put the lug through the new wheel and compare measurements

The AMG caps available aren't right for the time period though. They have the ///AMG. Not that it matters to most people but....
