wiring diagram for window switches on left side of car
I am new to the vintage Benz family. I have a 1979 Mercedes 300D. The VIN is 1231301215XXXX.
I decided to replace the left window switches in the console. I found them for under $40 new online with the lockout switch. When the switch arrived today I removed the panel only to find that the two wires are off the lockout and the plug for the rear window is disassembled. I found what appears to be a cap for the plug down in the well of the console. However, I do not know where to put the wires back into the plug. There are three wires. I have an inexpensive manual that does not give me the color codes for the terminals in the plug. Any help?

According to my 123 manual
The wires to the safety switch are brown. LR switch is black/white to pin 1 green/blue to pin 2 green/black to pin 3 brown/yellow to pin 4 black/red to pin 5 Good luck
