280 SE 3.5 Behr AC contol knobs

I am new to the forum. The two knobs for the Behr A/C unit are not available as replacement parts and I am wondering if any other models of MB (or even BMW) used these same two knobs? I am thinking that perhaps I can get a nicer set off of another car and it would be nice to expand my search beyond the 280 coupe and cabrios for spares?
I ahve attached a photo.

Replacement knobs

Drew Tibcken at Heritage Woodworks had them reproduced in Germany. They come as a set with the knobs, the 2 colored crescents and the chrome "BEHR" emblem. I bought a set for mine. If you want I will post a pic.

It was $376 including shipping in November 2007. Drew dosen't keep many in stock and he may have to have more made.
