New Transmission for my 4.5
Just off the plane from So Cal - it came in from Germany last Friday : )
My previous had over 200K on it. Sadly for want of a cheap bushing and improper adjustment, it began to die a sad death. I found the Maaco receipts in the PO's paperwork from their attempts to "repair" it. (head-desk) My most excellant mechanic actually did get it shifting really well, but in removing the pan 1K after the last service - the flakes and sludge were there and the damage was done. Ann

Ann, if you ever sell this car, I want to buy it. Also if you ever need to source a good rebuilder, get in touch with Chris, he's been around Atlanta for 30 years and knows everyone.

Yep, sold it a couple of weeks ago and I do miss it. By the time I got through with it, it ran like a dream....unlike the MG which yet again tried to kill me when I drove it.
It will give me incentive to work on my 6.3.

List is 5K + - but remember that MBCA discount!
Shipping wasn't that bad, mine came 2 day air from So Cal, so I paid through the nose, (200) but ground would be more reasonable. It came in a BOX!!! I'd have expected a pallet, based on the weight and general awkwardness of it, but it appears to be ok. Ann

Al - HA!!! Sell Ms. B?
Naw, I'm gonna drive her until the dinosaurs run out or I have a Viking funeral in her. This has been a huge project, but a lot of fun. Ann Attached - the BACK of my motor, post general clean, pre new main seal and fly wheel bolts. New springs and control arms. Triple core radiator job
