Anyone know for sure a brake master cy for 190sl will fit a 1960 190b sedan?

I believe they will. Is yours the 1-1/16 inch bore variety? Do you have the 190 service manual for the ponton period? I believe it discusses the MCs. If not, then perhaps the 180--220SE supplement to the 190 service manual has the information. Note that during the period in question, Mercedes used U.K- and U.S.-based MCs under licence from ATE. That is why English bore dimensions are used, not metric.

according to my Mercedes 190 factory shop manual, there were 2 brake master cylinders used on 190 / 190SL. A 1-1/16" bore with a single line connection for use with the ATE T-50 vacuum assist servo. (I think most 190SL were equipped with the servo unit) and a 1" bore with 3 line connections for non-servo cars (The servo was optional on 180 / 190 ponton sedans)
Hope this helps.
Happy Motoring, Mark DiSilvestro
