Fuel pump needed for 62 220SEb
The '62 has a bad heart, the fuel pump has finally croaked. Investigating shows $750 to $1100 for a replacement. Any of you fine forum members have an extra you can mail me? Really though, leads on a replacement would be appreciated.
On a better note, Gary has the 89 300CE doing a head recondition, AC repair and is re-sealing the tranny. I know it's post '79, but just wanted to add the news. '62 220SEb Mechanical fuel injection 4 speed UGH!!

They can be repaired.
http://www.m-100.cc/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1626 There are low pressure pumps availble from Holley from Jegs or Summit, for example. There are options.

Thanks for the news and the pm's. Maybe we'll try a rebuild and have a Summit on stand-by...
