Hello I am looking for a used headlamp rim assembly for a 1975 280C. The part number is as follows: A 115 826 05 89. It is still available from the dealer but they want $541.00 for one. Are you talking about the plastic headlight door with chrome trim surround? Those are usually pretty crappy at the junkyard so I don't get them. How bad is the one you have?

Thank you for the positive feedback Pete. The parts that I have in storage came from a restoration professional's estate. The family wanted the parts to go toward restoring cars that would be kept on the road for everyone to enjoy. I try to be fair and make sure the parts will satisfy the need of whoever is requesting.

The money I received from you went toward the set of Rocker Arms that the Emerald Bullet needs. They are due to arrive next week. Next I am going to order the Pivot Ball Stud Assemblies that go with the rocker arms which will cost $372.00 for a dozen. Selling Mercedes parts that I collected for restorations is difficult, but less so when I consider it trading stuff to fix my car while helping friends fix their cars. I purchased the entire collection hoping to find and restore Mercedes vintage cars. When I acquired the Emerald Bullet, it was priceless to have the parts I needed like mirrors, gas pedal, light bulbs, and carburetors.

Anyway... I have a new friend named Pete who needed headlight trim rings and a reflector. Glad I was able to help.
