Posts: Your Email: captnaselli@netzero.net Subject: 300 SD 617.950 1979 w/UT-ACCII Upgrade Kit installed Message: Need a compatent garage and mechanic that knows the vacuum system in West Palm Beach Florida I have a 1979 300SD turbo, chassis # 116.120 engine #617.950 and two years ago I removed the original servo climate control and replaced it with a UT-ACCII Upgrade Kit for the A/C heat unit. www. unwiredtools.com I am stationed in Mexico and will be retuning to the United States in October of this year. (U.S. Embassy duty) I need a really good mechanic that knows the vacuum system of this type vehicle and can help me check the tubes that control the different flap vent controls. Vonage phone # 561 743-4508 no change to you for direct connection to my duty station. The garage that originally installed the system was Central Garage in Vero Beach, Fl. and it was working perfectly until a few months ago.He has since gone out of business. If you would like I can send you the spec of what the system is doing now which can help with your suggestions for repair. Captain Joseph L. Naselli USCG Thank You |

Hi,start checking the vacuum lines and connectors that are going trough the firewall, and the vacuum check valve as well, you might find some loose or disconnected lines right there.
