w108 parts weird wanted

I post this here because I think a lot of people do not read the Wanted section, plus someone might be able to give me some ideas on where to get these parts. Most are weird :-) All for 1972 280SEL 4.5:

-Shift indicator cable (from shift column to instrument cluster)
-Instrument cluster bulb holder (for high beam, but likely all are the same)
-Glovebox latch, the one on the inside, not the one on the door.
-Fuse cover the for engine compartment 2-fuse holder
-Rear seat cushion black leather, only in VGC. I will likely buy a new one.
-Tow Hitch (long shot, I know, I will likely have to make one)
-Cabin air filter, in cowl (loooooong shot :-)

Thanks,

Csaba

The cabin air filters are available at (or via) your friendly local dealer.

I just stripped out the old filter fabric and trimmed some 3M filter material to fit and glue them to the old filter frames.

Cabin air filter parts numbers (via 280SE Guy)

1088300118 air (insect) filter right (cabin air grill)

1088300218 air (insect) filter left (cabin air grill)

Shouldn't be more than $40 for both.

Stand by

A buddy and I may be getting a small pile of oddball NOS parts for w114/115 and w108 chassis as part of a bigger deal for old stock.

Sorry I don't have part numbers yet.
