Rust repair on a W111 Sedan

Hello Gentlemen,
I'm relatively new to this forum and it has been a world of information so far! My friend and I purchased a dilapidated 1962 220Sb that has quite a bit more rust than we originally feared. Someone swapped in a Toyota motor in the past and did a terrible attempt at a "restoration". Its mind blowing at how bad it was/is. To make a long story short we are trying to repair the lack of a jack point and the holy rockers but cannot find any affordable repair parts or information on dimensions. Does anyone have any information we could use to manufacture some components? Pictures would do a world of good. Thanks for all of your help.
Bradley P.

Pictures of the rocker that extends past the firewall and towards the wheel well are of the utmost importance.

A rusty 220 Sb with the wrong motor might be considered a parts car for a better W111 sedan... Weigh the cost options and figure out if it is worth it to fix this one or cheaper to buy a better one. Says the guy with a $1500 1963 220S and a $700 1960 220S parts car. My parts car is a rust bucket with a good interior and engine. My 63 is a decent driver with a bad interior. So I might have an engine for you if you are interested in continuing your project... For that matter, I don't think the jack points on my rust bucket are rusty. The rust is elsewhere. The roof is almost entirely made of Bondo, and if you press your thumb into the front top fender behind the headlights your thumb makes an indentation.

All we need are pictures.
The whole idea of "Rust-free examples can be had" isnt what we were aiming for. We plan on using the car as kind of a "good-times" car, where we can take our friends out every once in a while and have a good time, hanging out. Ive been restoring/working around cars since I was 16 (First car I worked on was a '69 Boss 302 in Bright Yellow) and am ready and willing to fab whatever is necessary to get the car right. The rust is legitimately below the rocker line and below for the most part, every thing else is absolutely perfect as far as integrity is concerned...

Again, pics or it doesnt happen.

1962 220Sb

I have pictures of my 1962 220Sb. Can probably find some that focus on jack points for you.

Did you buy this car in Houston? I remember one for sale with a Toyota motor in it.

A Focus on Jack points and the area of the rockers that extends past the firewall, that the fender bolt to.

Car was bought in Houston, yes!

That would be wonderful if you can source some pictures for us. You have a beautiful Finnie!
Yes, we bought ours in South Houston over towards Baytown. It appears as though she spent her whole life in that area. Which explains a bit of the rust

Here's a picture of what it should look like behind the splash panel and two .pdfs of the rocker parts from EPC - not great quality. The inner rocker (110 610 04 09 or 03 09) and outer rocker (110 637 02 35 or 01 35 ) are still available. Also search Craig's List; I have found a lot of NOS parts that way, including rockers.

Repair of lower front fender in progress. It shows the rocker pretty well.
