Working on the 2nd door rehab 115
Got the passenger door stripped and ready to clean/por15/rebuild door seals, window channel & brush, and window seal. Found the regulator was cracked
115 720 34 46 doesn't come up in the EPC but 109 720 12 46 does and it looks close, but not quite. We'll see. . .

While it looks similar, you might have to pull one from a 108/109 to see (New is, to me, prohibitively expensive).
On the 108/109, the front and rear use the same regulator. My driver's front replacement was a driver's rear from the junkyard, because the driver's front on both 108 cars they had were broken. Judging by eBay it looks like the later cars had a revised regulator that's much different, maybe drill new holes in the door to fit one of those?

I just pulled mine from driver side. Usually they go for hundreds, but there is a guy on eBay that sells them for 100 (+10 bucks shipping).
His/mine/yours look identical, and should fit

I double checked, here's mine: you know I take that back, yours does look a little different; but maybe same guy sells yours too?

Thanks for the suggestions! I will look closely again but at first look it seemed like the config is different.
If i can still get a new one from mb, i may bite down on the wooden dowel and take the pain. G Amortized over another 40 years its not too bad

After looking at the part and the EPC and comparing the discrepancies, it occurred to me that the older 109 720 12 46 might be the current replacement for the electric window regulator even in the later 115's.
115 720 34 46 was cast in the metal on the broken reg but that isn't a part number. It's 115 720 36 46 and that part is NLA. When I highlight the regulator in the EPC it's 109 720 12 46 and it doesn't flag it as invalid for my model description. The bolt patterns look similar. One obvious difference seems to be that the round spring is on the opposite side but maybe it doesn't matter. Plus it seems a little unlikely MB would leave some 115 owners SOL on something like a regulator.
