1972 220D Rear Calipers
I have purchased rebuilt rear calipers for my 72 220D W115 and realized that they are different than the OEM calipers. I recently read that there was a change to the W123 calipers for the W115 chassis. Is anyone aware of this? The OEM rear brake design uses a "U" shaped hard pipe coming from the caliper and that is connected to the rubber line. Are the OEM rebuilt calipers available? There are pictures of both old and new calipers in the Diesel Discussion forum under a thread I started.

I had the same issue on my 72 SL, but I recall I was able to source the correct lines and adapt the "newer" style. I would think that if the bolt pattern and clearance works you would be fine
