the valves on the aluminum engines are bigger. somehow it didnt make it into my speadsheet but i think the iron block valves are 44mm intake and 37mm exhaust. the m116 aluminum gets a 39mm exhaust and the m117 in alloy gets the 39mm exhaust and a larger intake, i dont recall how much though.

also the aluminum block should shave some wieght off the car, which is always good =)

in my head i'd go for the 560 m117, its the biggest displacement, and being alloy its prolly lighter than an iron m116. plus the hp starts at 245ish....
