Are these the cam codes?

These are from the 450SE at the junkyard!
Are the numbers in these pics the cam codes? If so, these would be 52/53 cams, AKA the high performance cams!

Those are definitely the cam codes.

The CD has the note "use with mechanical adjustment only." Dunno if you have the hydraulic ball studs.

And as I read the specs, the 56/57 seemed to have longer duration. If you send me an email I'll send you the file.

Chuck: This is all in reference to which cams are the best "Performers" on the engine -

I have 54/55 cams, I believe (whichever the ones from a 450SEL were, the less-powerful ones).

These are 52/53 cams that are supposed to be stock on my car - 20 more HP I believe. These I got by ACCIDENT - I went to the junkyard and grabbed the cams off an early 450SE (with D-Jet) so I could sell them to cover the cost of cams from a 3.5 or other high-performance cams. I expected these to be smogged ones, 54/55. Needless to say, last night when I went to take pics of them so I could throw them on eBay (and noticed the P/N itself was a series lower, and the same as my original cams were), I was VERY surprised and happy!

The problem I have now is that you apparently cannot buy just one cam tower - I couldn't get the rear one off (with the oil groove in it) because the brake booster was in the way and I didn't have a bar to pry the engine up with (just a tailpipe, which didn't work)... I can't use the rear tower I have now (no groove, it's in the cam).

The durations of the 46/47, 52/53, and 54/55 cams are in this thread I started a while ago: 4.5 performance mods?

The right cam has some wear on it but not nearly as bad as I first thought (7.5/10). The left cam is like new (9/10)!
