Ok, there's no plans for production on the bi-turbo monster, but should be releasing the SLK320 CDI in '06 (in Europe
). It's a 282hp 465ft/lb
Tri-Turbo version of the diesel V-6 we'll get in the in the ML and the E. The #$@* thing goes 0-60moh in 5.3 and gets 37mpg in mixed hwy/cty
.LOL. The only things they didn't like were the diesel clatter
and the fact that they can't drive a turbo diesel ("
occasionally brutal accelerator tip in and tip out").
Can anyone say "European Delivery Program"??
