Yeah, I though about the tilt issue after i submitted the post. Looks like I can use the console though. Since I posted, I have been in contact with a fellow who may have some parts i need. Really need a pass door window regulator at the moment.

It figures MB would design their coupe seats and such completely different from the 4-door sedan. Certainly a different approach from US makers of an earlier time.
