Correct me if I'm wrong; but I don't think you're talking about the orientation of the wheel on the shaft (centering the wheel); but, rather, the steering shaft "leaning" towards the driver's door? Right?
Many MB models have that "lean" built in. Can't remember which way mine is. Supposed to aid in entrance/exit from car.
