Down here in Cincinnati, right by me, is an '81 240D 4 speed, 277K miles, unfortunately kind of rusty (floorboards, jack points gone, doors and fenders kind of bad too), but actually has a halfway decent motor, a lot of parts I need, but (I think) PROBABLY too rusty to fix. I can score it pretty cheap, and would consider stripping it and parting it out-IF somebody can come up with $700 to buy the manual tranny parts(and you would get EVERYTHING you would need).
