I'm sure you can buy this new from a dealer or another source, but what's wrong with used part? I kept an older Volvo running by replacing 'non-critical' parts when they failed with parts from a salavge yard in MD. I enjoyed the relationship I developed with the yard's owner, a very honest guy who would UPS my part and include an invoice, trusting I would pay. However, I realize this 'used part from a salvage yard' method is not for everyone, or for every part.
