well the shaft is part of the shock, and it goes through the rear lower wishbone. I wish I could just cut througt it, there is no room for it. I have a deep offset box end wrench to turn the nut, no problem, it's that the shaft needs to be counter held and only a torx T30 fixs down there. Whoever design this kind of crap didn't take rust into consideration and I hate those torx bits.
