Me too! I was OK until someone asked what is the "clear blue" and "tranny". Cracked up even more when someone explained. Read on and even more cracked up. I was literally in tears . I guess it has been a long day! Sorry.

Seriously, we need more details. When you press the accelerator in "D", does the car even move? Does it lurch? Where does the burning smells come from? However, it does sound like the tranny is on the fritz.

Also, what makes you think the engine needs replaced? Is there problems there too?
