Just do a thorough brake system flush and it will come out squeeky clean. The brake system should be totally flushed with new fluid annually anyway.

To do this, draw the existing fluid from the reservoir with a large syringe, mityvac or turkey baster. Pour in some fresh fluid and start flushing all four wheels. Keep going around to all wheels until all fluid is coming out totally clear.

I have recently discovered that Prestone synthetic brake fluid seems to clean better and end up clearer than any other fluid that I've used. Since this car has sat up so long, plan on flushing at least one quart through it.

Good luck,

Good luck,
