I don't know about your wipers... I just fixed mine and I just had to re-solder the connections on the relay. But as for your AC... R-134a didn't come out until around 1992 or so... so your car was designed for R-12... however it may have been converted. The only way to tell is to check the fittings for charging. They are different sizes for R-134a. Any competent A/C shop can tell you which you have. If you need to convert it, go to your local parts store and buy the $35 kit. It has everything you need. And yes, I did check with an A/C person... these kits are all you need to do the job.
