There is no nut on the link where it attaches to the axle carrier---the carrier itself is threaded to accept the bolt portion of the link . Just use the correct size open end wrench and loosen as normal. If you need to see a picture go to www.mb.braingears.com and look at job 32-310 on 126 disk 2. Good luck. Mark
