I just replaced blower motor as well as other items in a 90 300D 2.5 turbo with 106K miles on it.


It will probably be harder to replace blower motor with evap box mounted in car than on a workbench, so you might want to get the same make of motor with the squirrel cages installed. That way you will not have to deal with a unit that mount differently. I removed a functioning Bosch blower motor with squirrel cages because I had the evap box out and the person I did the job for wanted a new blower motor. The bushes appear to be worn about 60% to 70%. I’m going to put it on ebay next week.
