If you want a cheap joke, nothing is easier than to take a swipe at Bush or America. Many British comedians that should know better are aware of this. Sadly, it's always easier to paint a group of people with a broad brush stroke. It's too much to ask for people around the world to realize that Americans all have different opinions, that there are certain people in charge due to a certain process, that not everyone agrees, etc.

We do the same thing here, though. Listen for it the next time you hear the words 'liberal' or 'conservative.' It's always one or the other that causes all America's problems.
