Doesn't it get warm during summer wearing flannel, goose down and those knit caps?

BTW, even if it has a maple leaf on it . . . you're probably wearing Chinese or Indonesian clothes.

I think the comments were more interesting than the story.

My favourite comment so far:

If you want a cheap joke, nothing is easier than to take a swipe at Bush or America. Many British comedians that should know better are aware of this. In my opinion, most people who feel inclined to say such things are generally ill-informed on political matters, and such comments are an attempt to hide their ignorance.

Sadly, it's always easier to paint a group of people with a broad brush stroke. It's too much to ask for people around the world to realize that Americans all have different opinions, that there are certain people in charge due to a certain process, that not everyone agrees, etc.

We do the same thing here, though. Listen for it the next time you hear the words 'liberal' or 'conservative.' It's always one or the other that causes all America's problems.

Almost every US embassy* over here has been turned into a fortress whereas many other icons of American cultural like McDonalds, Nike, Coca Cola, Disney, Microsoft, Madonna etc enjoy immense popularity.
Seems 'Anti-Americanism' is more complex than annoyingly loud tourists or Bush's Lebensraum foreign policy.

Funny how the more Enlightened places such as France and other socialist loving places have such a wonderful booming economy...
