That's true BHD, but look where WE are today. I was right behind Dubya at the beginning of this thing. I'm having second thoughts about much of what I was in favor of then.

Next time we decide war is our best option, maybe we need to start from the end and plan backwards. It would be nice to know how and under what conditions we will end/get out of the war before we start it.

There seems to be a number of younger Iranians who are more favorable to the West and Western ideas, culture, etc. However, there's also nothing like a foreign invader to galvanize nationalistic feelings and bring support to a leader who might otherwise not have been so well-liked.
