i put on 3 of those rubber mounts... your
picture does not look right to me... it looks like
you are showing the bottom of the breather...

the mounts go on a v shaped rail which is mounted on the care..
the rubber mounts have brass colored screws on eighter end.

you screw them into the mounting bracket on the bottom and then you
manuver the breather onto the mounting bracket... put the nuts on and then you put the air filter in....
