It used to be 2nd and 4th. You will certainly need a tranny. The've known this for quite awhile, so I hope they were up front in their auction.
I loved the car, and for the right price would have been all over it. Back when I drove it it shifted from first to third. You had to let off for the first to third, then keep it in S so it wouldn't try for 4th.
Interior was nice, suspension felt great. Paint is leaving, but presentable.
Best year/model 190d I believe. You're just gonna need a tranny or a rebuild. Be careful of a used tranny, as these seem to always go at some point, much sooner than the 123 and 126 trannies.
