why don't you buy the service cds, new all copper evap and do it yourself?
you will be more carefull and not tear up stuff because it is yours, you will have satisfaction...

it is not hard greasy work just tedious. just take your time; label, bag, take photos as you dissasemble. a good long weekend should do it. hell i live 4 hours from you in greenville, if you want to hire me i would do it for half...or possibly buy your car as is.

as for toyota, have you priced toyota parts? alot more expensive than mb parts.
