Also, with the engine at 100C, you should be able to hear the fan pulling air when the engine is revved up. If you cannot hear this or feel a mass amount of air being pulled by the fan when the engine is 100C or over, then it probably needs a replacement.

First make sure the radiator is fully hot all the way through before you go changing the fan clutch.
