I am going to remove the wood veneer from my console and send it off to be refinished. I am also planning on replacing my Becker radio with a new head unit. Does it matter which I do first? For instance, does the wood need to be present for the stereo folks to fit the new head unit properly? Or do I risk damaging the newly refinished wood if I wait to do the stereo last? Thanks.
