ran an errand at lunch and on the way back i noticed the temp guage at 100c then it went to 120. luckily i was close to home and parked it.

this is the 81 300td btw.

the lower hose from the expansion tank is cold. the hose from the radiator to the e.tank is hot. the lower hose from the engine to the radiator is cold. am i right in thinking the prob is the thermostat?



bonus question.....what can i use to attach the borrom of a window to the arm to raise and lower it. my rr came adrift and it is closed but i would like to open it sometime.
