Did the same thing. Screen installs just like screen on a door. Find the smallest mesh screen, preferably nylon, you can find and install with rubber spline. They come in different diameters. Wish I could remember what I used, but a little experimenting will get you to the tight diameter for the groves. Go for it, it's easy.
