Thanks for the quick response. I've already disconnected the exhaust hangers and even separated the exhaust from the converter. The trannny will only drop so far before the engine hits the firewall. Should I also disconnect the drive shaft and flex disc from the transmission output shaft to gain more lateral room before I wedge the 2x4 to get more clearance? BTW, can a defective upshift delay system cause a no shift condition and can I just remove the solenoid and tubing and plug the governor pressure test port and the return line hole on the governor cover?
