Consider tiling the floor, regular asphalt(?) tiles. Other than having to park on mats to keep the tire/catalytic heat from causing problems. It worked well in my garage, and isn't expensive. Haven't heard great things about the expoxies, and the linked mats get real pricey.

Finally, how does that heater do ?
I have a small house furnace sitting in my garage. Overkill, and wastes a lot of floor space. But it works real well.

I've been trying to talk myself into converting to a wall unit like that, or a garage type hanging unit. The wall units are a lot cheaper, but I don't know about effeciency and what other issue's to consider. I do have a big ceiling fan in my garage, to I can move the air well.
