There are two filters, both at the front on the top of the engine compartment. One is a canister filter (looks like a classic oil filter) the other is a pre-filter the size of your forefinger inside the left hand side of the fuel filter housing as you are facing it.
If your motor turns over but wont start, start with checking the issues discussed in the below thread.
