ah, in boston in the winter, I would use a lighter grade oil. I hate to go to Synthetic immediately, but you may have no choice... how cold is it up there now? if it is still in the 40's at night, you may be ok using 15W40 for now, just to get clean oil in the sucker, then change it for some synthetic 5W40 Mobil or Rotella... John
