You are doing nothing wrong. If it did something now that would be interesting. You have just joined the ranks of us that own non functional cruise controls. There has been a little disscusion of the difficulties encountered with the cruise control in the archives. Have a look under cruise control. There might be a post or two. I know there are some working out there as they are mentioned from time to time. It is a given almost that the cruise is not working on 123 diesel cars I look at. One day I will get a suprise maybe. Resoldering of all the connections in the cruise control module seems to reactivte some. Or for a couple of hundred you can have it rebuilt. But if you resolder it they will not rebuild it for you. To get around this nasty senario I have been experimenting with voodoo reciently. I was hoping the batting average with voodoo might be higher. No luck so far. What am I going to do with all these chicken bones?
