Hello to all,

I've been thinking about converting the headlamps on my 1987 300D Turbo with one of the kits found on the web. The lights on this year of the 124 chassis are, in my opinion, less than adequate.

It looks as if one can buy the kit and the bulbs replace the exisiting bulbs with minor connections and mounting of the ignitor and ballast.

My main concern would be the heat from the bulbs melting the MB plastic housings. Does anyone have any experience with this set-up?
