Good luck - this one is way beyond anything I personally would want to tackle. You may want to look at this article that Steve Brotherton (the moderator Stevebfl on the Tech Help section) wrote about replacing evaporators. Its on his website here.

I found one recently from the iATN archives. According to James Houwen, it is possible to crack the windshield if the car is lifted with the dash brace removed.
