Yes you can do it yourself. You should post in the tech forum a couple of those guys have done it. Remember book time for this job is like 20 hours its a big job!

You will need two things:
A camra so you can take lots of pics and get everything back together.
Also a FSM, you are digging into a complex dash a FSM is a must.

The best price I have heard for this job was a about $2k.
