I'm not trying to be contrary, but I recommend that you DO NOT use Teflon tape. These are flared fittings, so the flare does the sealing not the threads, teflon tape is for sealing pipe threads.

More importantly, I saw a small piece of Teflon tape cause oiling system problems on a non MB engine one time, so I hesitate to use it around the oiling system. If you do, be very careful not to allow any to overlap threads such that a piece can make it into the oiling system.
