took to the valve train and replaced valve guide seals and springs with new MB parts. all filters and new oil. checked the chain stretch and came of with this. its a 617.912 engine with a 10 cam.
she smoked a tab when started, but after a run up the freeway and the release of a smoke cloud I think anyone here could be proud of she is much better. It feels like the new springs are giving her more valve control, as she isn't floundering in the higher revs like before. Power is up for sure. Fun.
