ok so i got the old alternator off anyway. my new one does not have this part on that my old one does have. this part is a little square box on top of the alternator with a little wire connecting to a different part of the alternator. Is this part the voltage regulator? on this little part it reads. 2.2pf 110v- 0 310 000 062
should i transfer this part to the new alternator and put it in?
