ok now i replaced the alternator with a good voltage regulator and the car ran for 7 miles then died in the middle of the road. Is there anything else that can cause this besides a bad alternator or regulator. The car wont even start with jumper cables connected to it. Right before it died, the antilock light came on and rpm arrow went all the way up and back down. I replaced the OVP relay with a brand new one a few months ago so that shouldbt be the problem.
